2024 NeuroPSI - Chen Institute joint conference on Brain, Behavior & Beyond

Neuroengineering for exploring and repairing the brain, May 16-17, 2024

From brain-machine interfaces to AI-based speech decoding, neurotechnologies are giving an unprecedented access to brain functions in health and disease.

During 2 days, we will explore multiple facets of neuroengineering, at the interface between electronics, robotics, and cellular biology, and illustrate their promising perspectives to repair sensorimotor and mental health deficits.

We will host at NeuroPSI — the Paris-Saclay Institute of Neuroscience — several experts of this interdisciplinary research field:

Richard Andersen California Institute of Technology, USA
Gopala Anumanchipalli    University of California at Berkeley, USA
Deniz Dalkara Institut de la Vision, Paris, France
Valérie Ego-Stengel NeuroPSI, Saclay, France
Denis A. Engemann Roche Pharma R&D, Basel, Switzerland
Luis Garcia Université Versailles St Quentin, France
Muriel Perron NeuroPSI, Saclay, France
Mahsa Shoaran École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland
Nicolas Simon Wandercraft, Paris, France
Fabien Wagner Université de Bordeaux, France
Fan-Gang Zeng University of California at Irvine, USA

You can still register to attend the conference online!

Short talks and posters will be selected from the abstracts submitted on this website. Space is limited: we will select applicants in priority from submitted abstracts. Short talk abstracts that cannot be selected for oral presentation will be considered for a poster slot.

This is the second edition of the yearly NeuroPSI-Chen Institute Joint Conference on Brain, Behavior & Beyond, organized by the Paris-Saclay Institute of Neuroscience (NeuroPSI) and the Tianqiao & Chrissy Chen Institute (TCCI).

Organizing committee: Luc Estebanez, Valérie Doyère, Patrick Pla, Guy Bouvier, Julien Bouvier, Jean-Marc Edeline, Valérie Ego-Stengel, Zineb Hayatou, Ervan Achirou, Adrien Barralis, Léa Le Barillier, Alexis d'Humières, Marie Martin, Demi van Westendorp, Alexandra Martin.

About the Chen Institute: Driven by their intense desire to understand how perceptions are formed and impact our behaviour, husband and wife Tianqiao Chen and Chrissy Luo established the Tianqiao and Chrissy Chen Institute in 2016 with the mission to benefit humanity.  Chen Institute partners with world-leading universities and research institutions to drive fundamental brain research through in three key areas – brain discovery, brain treatment, and brain enhancement.
